Should your requirement be higher, you must connect a corresponding number of additional LoDi-Booster 10A units to ensure the power supply.

For layouts that are monitored with RailCom, the LoDi-Booster 10A provides the so-called RailCom cutout, which is responsible for transmitting the RailCom return channel.

The LoDi-Booster 10A supplies the current needed to operate the digitally controlled locomotives and also the turnouts, as well as all other consumers located on the layout. In the event of a short circuit on the model railway layout (caused e.g. by a derailed carriage or locomotive), the booster switches off the current on the layout in order to avoid further damage to the rails or the rolling stock. Thanks to the integrated intelligence of the LoDi-Booster, in the event of a short circuit only the affected areas are switched off and reported back to the control software in use. This way, the rest of the model railway layout can continue running without the risk of damage to the rolling stock. The booster brings the voltage to the track so that the digital driving and switching commands can reach all vehicle or accessory decoders located on the layout.
