LoDi-Gleichrichter
Time and again there are consumers that ought to be fed from a DC source.
A good example is the LED.
It is usually just connected to the transformer through a series resistor. Connected to an AC transformer, however, it flickers.
With the LoDi rectifier, motors and DC consumers can be run from an ordinary model railway transformer.
Features of the LoDi rectifier

1. The LoDi rectifier and its connections
The ordinary model railway transformer, 0–24 volts AC, connects to the IN terminal.
Your consumers connect to the OUT terminal.
2. Technical data
Depending on the version, the LoDi rectifier delivers a total output of 1.3 or 3.4 amperes.
The output of the LoDi rectifier is short-circuit proof and fully regulated.
