Lenz with LAN interface
Setting up the Lenz command station with LAN interface in the LoDi-Con
The LoDi-Con can be connected to the Lenz LAN interface.
With the LoDi-Con, locomotives and turnouts can be driven and CVs configured.
How that works is explained below:
First the Lenz command station with its LAN interface has to be on the same network as the LoDi-Con, so make sure both devices are on it. If you have questions about that, do get in touch.
First tap the "house"; this icon always takes you back to the main screen.
There press Settings > Command station >
From there go to Settings > Command station >
Unfortunately the Lenz station cannot be found on the network. Its IP address therefore has to be known and entered into the LoDi-Con by hand.
Once the LoDi-Con has found no devices, you can enter the IP address of the station yourself.
To do that, tap "New command station".
The IP address of the Lenz LAN interface has to be known and entered in this form. Then choose the protocol — in this case "XPN" for the Lenz system.
Confirm by tapping the green tick at the bottom.
(Devices shown green in the "Search for command stations" overview are already known to the LoDi-Con.)
With the Lenz station, the LoDi-Con can programme locomotive CVs over RailCom or on the programming track.
In the station overview, the first entry "Prog mode" programmes over the programming track directly.
