Foreword

We offer two different solutions for room lighting.

In the beginning we used DMX controllers exclusively for the LED strips.

That works well in principle, but we quickly found there was room for improvement. For that reason we developed the LoDi-Light-Operator 4-C-LED specifically for the SC bus.

It drives the LEDs at 100 Hz with 1024 steps, against the 255 steps of DMX. That makes the light four times smoother to dim than with DMX.

In stage technology there is a wealth of equipment driven over DMX. Devices such as moving heads — with which a rising sun or moon can be staged — or a fog machine, laser, strobe and much more can all be driven over DMX.

Room lighting SC

The SC bus based switching system is our own development and is best understood as a high-speed switching bus. The individual devices on this bus are connected to one another with patch cables, and up to 480 switching channels can be driven from a single LoDi-Shift-Commander. Room lighting control — for large rooms as well — is equally straightforward with the SC system.
